All footage and sound used in this short film was harvested within the boundaries of the Dartington Estate during the 6 week residency 19/04/21 - 28/05/21. It features some footage of the physical co-hort taking the virtual co-hort on a tour around the gardens using an iphone.
Short Film : Emergence
All footage and sound used in the making of this short film were harvested during my time on the Dartington Estate. There was an absence of human activity across the site which drew my focus naturally to the often unnoticed activity of non human residents - the ants, the birds, even hedgehogs. I was aware of the sense of awakening over the six weeks, and with the easing of social restrictions came new opportunities for connections to be made and new channels of communication to open.
